These days there are two most talked about issues in India , one is corona virus pandemic, and second is Palghar Lynching Investigation. 

In palghar lynching case the leading and fearless journalist of india , the owner and editor in chief of Republic T.V. Network put some very tough question infront of congress and its president Ms Soniya Gandhi. , who got rattled and unleashed govt machinary on arnab goswami and stop him from discussing palghar lynching case .

In order to understand the conflict firstly we need to know the style and ideology on which Arnab Goswami Work.

LETS GET FAMILIAR TO ARNAB GOSWAMI 

Arnab Ranjan Goswami (born 7 March 1973) is an Indian journalist and television news anchor, who is the editor and majority owner of the news channel Republic TV He was also president of News Broadcasting Association's governing board but has recently resigned from the association.

Before Republic TV, Goswami was the editor-in-chief and a news anchor of Times Now and ET Now, from 2006 to 2016 Previously, he had also served stints at NDTV and The Telegraph.

On Times Now, he anchored The Newshour, a live debate at 9 pm  weekdays, which propelled him to widespread fame ] He also hosted a special television programme Frankly Speaking with Arnab

On 1 November 2016, Goswami resigned as Editor-in-Chief of Times Now. His news channel Republic TV was launched on 6 May 2017.

Goswami had won the Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism (TV) in 2008.

Arnab Goswami   style of working, his vision and stand on journalism

Firstly we need to understand Arnab Goswami   style of working, his vision and stand on journalism. and the narrative he put forward while launching republic TV. . His aim is to take out media from the clutches of Lutyans Delhi and people who don’t fear anyone, neither law, no police nor courts, they should fear media before doing any scam or committing any crime, and this is possible only by investigative journalism.

As per him, Journalism is not reading a scripted language but to take a position on an issue between RIGHT and WRONG, Black and White.Terming Republic T.V. as a movement and not a channel, he said the time for independent media has come

While working for times now, he exposed many scandals like 2G and Commonwealth Games scams.  He was always in favour of moving hub of Media Concentrated in Noida and Delhi to be moved away  to some other place like Mumbai to keep it somehow out of reach of Lutyans Lobby. 

Commonwealth Games scam

Arnab exposed the Commonwealth Games scam that his erstwhile channel had broken in 2010, as an example of his journalism.

Not much people know but while Arnab was exposing Suresh Kalmadi in Common Wealth Scam, kalmadi called him angrily and asked not to get into this matter and also called him to his residence to meet . Arnab said to kalmadi that he is in Mumbai and Cant come to Delhi , however if he wish he can be part  of News hour Debate where he can put his point. Kalmadi banged the phone down and I don’t think arnab and kalmadi ever had conversation again to my knowledge.

Few other exposes credited to him was 

Sunanda Pushkar Murder Case ,in which he almost established foul play by her husband Shashi Tharoor ,  

He played a major role in exposing Indrani and Peter Mukherji involvement in murder of there daughter SHEENA BORA

Apart from them there are many other cases that have been credited to the account of Arnab Goswami , 

It is said that a very famous interview of Rahul Gandhi in Frankly Speaking with Arnab in which Rahul Gandhi surrounded all his statements around 2 words . WOMEN EMPOWERMENT and  RTI  and  his admission that PROBABLY SOME CONGRESS PERSON WERE INVOLVED IN 1984 RIOTS. . Its believed it was also a factor determining the outcome of 2014 elections.

Arnab  lead TIMES NOW on his own narrative on Pakistan, and Antinationalism.  while Times Group promoted AMAN KI ASHA  kind of campaign of biryani parties and ghazal concerts ,

He has been accused of opinionated reporting in support of Bharatiya Janata Party and Hindutva across a wide spectrum of situations including by uncritical reproduction of government narratives avoiding criticism of figures from the ruling party (BJP) and presenting political opponents in a negative light.

Because of his nationalist views and fearless debating and enormous fan following.  He has always been thorn in flesh of Lutyans Lobby, liberal gangs and people who initiated and propagated concept of BHAGWA TERROR.   In my opinion except the people doing appeasement politics he is liked by everyone.  and also  I wont call him completely biased ,

• Arnab thrashed bjp when tour of ISI was allowed in Pathankot,

• I remember a video in which Hindus were given training of arms and ammunitions and in role-play  the people who were being shot were wearing Muslim skull caps , arnab strongly protested against it and thrashed its organizers.

We can say that Arnab Goswami Ideology of Nationalism and Patriotism matched with policies of bjp top cadre.

Similarity between the ideology of Arnab Goswami and Modi Government

• Arnab Goswami and B.J.P. both believes in Nationalism and Patriotism.

• Both beleave in action and not liberalism.

• Both are against Lutyans Lobby which Narendra Modi calls as Khan Market Gang.

• Both stand rock solid with Defense Forces.

• Both firmly believe that with Pakistan liberalism policy and winning Pakistans heart with love and peace talks is impossible, Pakistan needs to be dealt like an enemy diplomatically, economically and militarily. Arnab believed it’s a waste of time and money and Pakistan will never improve and neither  the antinational lobby consisting of Liberals, Hurriyats , writers and intellectuals will improve.  And I must say that he was right , ultimately for uniting Kashmir to india  bjp govt had to take strict measures and put them behind bars to remove article 370 from Indian constitution and to call Pakistan blough , isolated it globally , broke its economy and  responded  terror attacks with surgical stikes , airstrikes and gave free hand to forces to deal with Pakistan the way Indian army wants to , Pakistan every attack is responded with double the strength using big guns. Arnab Goswami is hardcore fan of Indian forces , and always favored and promoted them.These tactics have actually worked and since 2014 , no terror attacks have taken place outside Kashmir , and its perhaps the most economically broken and hated nation globally. Secondly in one go Modi Govt removed the controversial article 370 from Indian constitution and integrated Kashmir to India.  As expected social media was flooded with fake news of astrocities, killings flooded social media Arnab Goswami fought every fake news and antinational media furiously and now there is peace in Kashmir .

• Arnab Goswami believed that facing the problem head on and finding its solution is the key to success instead of delaying tactics which only make the problem bigger and bigger and that exactly is the thinking of Modi Shah Duo, after winning 2019 , the pace at which BJP Government was working bringing every problem to conclusion was commendable .

• While opposition is concerned with human rights and appeasement of minorities only, arnab and bjp believes equal human rights for everyone, weather its minority, majority or forces.

• Both don’t believe in opportunistic single sided secularism, Arnab believes in facts , figures , graphs basically the news backed up by strong evidence. While if you see tweets of liberals, and modi haters, all tweets are mere statements based on presumptions,  and when countered they remain silent and don’t reply .

He quickly climbed the ladder of success and today is the most popular and influential journalist of india. In TRP ratings no one stands even near to Republic T.V.

 Arnab Stated His vision at the launch of Republic T.V. at Bengaluru

In this country, if you don’t scream and yell then nobody gives a damn.” So said Arnab Goswami to a packed house at the 2017 Under 25 summit in Bengaluru on January 8And if one were to judge from the loud applause and cheers from the 3,000-odd young audience, there was no doubt whose side they were on. Had Arnab asked them to vote for him, he would have won with a landslide victory. Though he did something closer, he chose to use the stage to rally support for his soon-to-be-launched media channel, Republic. They shouted “Republic,” when he asked them what the name of his media outfit was. Taking his cue, he preempted the question ‘the nation wants to know’, by answering what Republic is. The under 25s sparked a Republic anthem for us in Bengaluru! Shout it, scream it, write it, type it and THUMP IT!

He said the media had lost the judgment of what is right and wrong. “For 10 years, in Lutyens’ Delhi, I have seen the decay and near demise of this beautiful profession of journalism that has been compromised beyond belief,” he told the ecstatic crowd. “You and me together will save Indian journalism from the influence of Lutyens’ Delhi. Take journalism outside Delhi, take it to Pune, to Guwahati, to Bengaluru, to Mumbai but not the national capital. They are so compromised, so co-opted they have no right to represent the people,” he said, in his signature high pitch. Having announced the launch of his media channel on Twitter and Facebook a few days ago, it is clear that Arnab considers the digital natives, the millennials, the Gen Zers -- call the under-25 youth what you will -- his constituency. He hit the raw nerve by raising the serial molestation and groping incidents in his speech right at the beginning.

PALGHAR MOB LYNCHING CASE

Since the matter is under investigation, we cant make any comment on anything , we can just put few questions to Government on the story they made public .

Why i dont blame police : 

I  dont blame police for not protecting saints while lynching was going on. Reason is that police is a tool of government , they are just a part of system and not the system itself , they do what they are instructed to do. 

If you all remember the day thousands of people gathered at Bandra Station to go home , The same police as soon as  got instructions cleared the crown within not time. 

So its not that maharashtra police couldnt have saved the saints , they could have easily done it. But what stopped them from protecting the saints is still a question mark 

What exactly happened?

• Two sadhus with their driver were going by car from Mumbai to Surat to attend a funeral. Their names were Mahant Kalpavruksha Giri (70), Sushilgiri Maharaj (35) and Naresh Yelgade. They apparently did not have a lockdown travel pass. 

• To avoid the police who would have stopped them, they did not go by the Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway and took a detour by a small road in the remote rural areas of Dahanu tehsil which goes to Gujarat via the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagarhaveli.

• It must be remembered that this is an extremely backward and entirely Adivasi (tribal) area. They passed Gadchinchle village, were briefly stopped by the forest guard and then were allowed to go further .

• But when they reached the Maharashtra border 1 Km away, the guards at Dadra and Nagarhaveli refused them permission to go ahead and turned them back. They came back by the same route and were again stopped at the forest check post .

• The mob was ready and waiting for sadhus to come back , they put barricade , Placed large stones on the road so that saints are not able to drive past the check point.

Adding to the questions Arnab Goswami asked Maharashtra Government about the role of police who handed over saints to them, and whatever happened to him after that.

There are few other questions that should be asked .

Two factors need to be taken in account before we put our questions :

• Among Mumbai's suburbs, Thane, Palghar and Mumbai Suburban have been designated as red zones as per today Other districts in Maharashtra in this category are Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Solapur, Yavatmal,  (Please  Note this was position as on 30th April 2020. i dont know what was the status as on 16th April 2020. )

• The saints that were lynched didnt had the lock down travel pass, and mumbai recording maximum corona cases had been the biggest hotspot in india.

Apart from questions that media asked maharashtra government , i have few more questions :

• How saints inspite of having such strict lockdown measures being adapted managed to cross thane and palghar district.?

• They passed Gadchinchle village, were briefly stopped by the forest guard, why they were not turned back inspite of them not having permission and allowed them to go.?

• They then went ahead to reach Dadra and Nagarhaveli which is Maharashtra border and were turned back. When they returned they were again stopped at the same point with thousand strong mob waiting to attack them, road was blocked with big stones and barricades, which means they already knew that saints are coming there.This is what makes things extremely suspicious, how come attackers were so confident that saints won’t be allowed to cross and they will be turned back from Dadra and Nagarhaveli.

• As per government fake news was circulated in whatsapp groups locally that thieves are there. If this is true, we would like to know the name of group, screenshot of whatsapp msg circulated and its admin.

• 16th April Incident happened .

• 20th April Arrests Made by Maharashtra Police.

• 21st  April  Arnab Goswami Questions Soniya Gandhi Silence on Palghar Lynching. (Remember its not the first time arnab questioned Soniya Gandhi, and this is a fact that Lutyans Lobby, Liberals and congress create havoc if Muslim gets lynched , but go silent if hindu gets lynched , they question pm modi and bjp for silence on everything everytime, they lead the intolerance march to rashtrapati bhavan and now was about to become one of the biggest example of intolerance.  

• 22nd April - 200 fir filed in Congress Ruled states against arnab goswami.

• 23rd April In the Early hours Arnab and His wife were attacked by two people who identified themselves as youth congress workers when caught by Arnab Goswami P.S.O.  on the same day arnab  went to N.M. Joshi police station  , where fir was filed after ten hours . police refused to mention name of congress in FIR. 

• 24th April - Supreme Court grants Arnab Goswami protection from arrest for three weeks, issues notice in plea against FIRs .The Court transferred the FIR filed in Nagpur to Mumbai and the investigation on the same will be carried out along with the probe on the complaint filed by Goswami pertaining to the attack made against him. Proceedings on all other FIRs in various States shall remain stayed.

• 27th April – Arnab Goswami was interrogated by Mumbai Police for 12 hours.

This is not the first time Arnab has questioned congress and its leaders, but the massive backlash he received raises doubts in mind of people  It looks like some movie in which a honest person is bombarded by some mafia using cops and goons making him to surrender and give up.

But Arnab Goswami is a fighter and he has enormous public support , may god give him courage to fight it out and bring the real truth in front of public and saints..

With mumbai high court accepting PIL and asked Govt and Police to submit there report to the court it appears that Arnab Goswami has managed to successfully turn the tables
